How did I end up in such a miserable situation?

You know... being an outcast, with no friends, no girlfriends, no acquaintances, etc... not even enemies. The only text messages I get are from some scammers claiming I need to "reset my Netflix password", even though I never even owned a freaking Netflix account. No one acknowledges my existence. I am invisible to other people, and I do not know why.

Is it my face? Is it my personality? Do I smell bad or have a severe case of bad breath?

I have not the slightest idea why everyone (and I mean E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E) is repulsed by my presence. Might be some form of mental illness that can be sensed by others and make their senses tell them to steer clear of me. I really don't know.

It's Summer over here and people are out having fun and partying. Women are looking wonderful in their summer dresses that emanate such fertile-esque auras you can literally feel it when you walk past them. Kids are out playing sports and laughing all day long.

Yet, here I am... in my room... all alone.

The only thing that can make me feel normal are video games (as you may have guessed). Currently, there is one game I would really love to play and it's on sale on Steam right now... for only $5 USD.

Is it too much to ask you to gift me that game on Steam? It's called Black Mesa and it has a 10/10 rating out of 76,367 reviews. It's not some random game, but an award-winning game that normally costs over $20... yet it is on sale for $5 as I write these lines.

It would cost you $5 and about ten minutes of your time. But it will grant a stranger dozens of hours of sheer pleasure and the ability to enjoy his Summer for once. Don't you think this kind of gesture is fair?

It's because you're boring. Be an interesting person. Have lots of creative hobbies and learn some interesting information on a wide variety of topics. And learn how to be better at making conversation

user, you call your situation misery, but I’m in the same situation by choice though but I call it sanity and the best situation ever. I fucking love it user. You should learn to embrace it. If not just make the simple decision to change it, AND PUT IN AN EFFORT TO CHANGE IT. you cannot make this choice and sit on your ass and do nothing and you don’t need to try and move a mountain just an effort in between and the universe will recognize your effort and help you along.

I am an interesting person with more knowledge than the people I talk to. While trying to figure out why people rejected me, I took notes of how people were interacting in order to figure out the problem. And from an outside perspective, I couldn't see how I fall short from others (content wise in conversations).

Well, is it really by choice? Maybe all the years you/I were faced with rejection caused our brains to create more pathways favoring other lifestyles. Of course, it ends up being "our choice", but if we didn't have all that bad experience, maybe our choices would be different today.
