Last AMD card I ever bought was a Radeon 9800 Pro back in 2004 just so I could play Half Life 2 with like 30 fps
Eventually that card took a shit so I went down the NVIDIA road and never looked back

being nvidia pushes devs to make that happen while helping them with resources to make it happen. That along with nvidia's massive market share means more focus on Nvidia anyways. Yet how does nvidia repay the gamers for that market share and profits? They pretty much treat gamers like shit.
Like enjoy next gen hardware at a mid level being held back being no no go be a good cuck and buy the old cards two years later for over msrp. We need AMD so nvidea gets knocked down a peg or two the way Intel needed its dick stomped a bit to shape up their cpu line. Blind support for any corp just screws consumers long term. loved my 6800 and the amd radeon customization but it was a hassle and the drivers were always improving, meaning yes there were always problems. Can't have it both ways. My 3090 ti and the nvidia drivers have been very solid, as expected.

I've had all kinds of problems with AMD CPUs and GPUs in the past as well. I fell for the first Ryzen CPUs and had tons of crashes. Never again. It is like people say, Nvidia just works. Also AMD encoders suck dick
