Didn't really hit it off with the date so we stopped texting not long after. Then maybe a month later I bumped into the stepdaughter again in the grocery store and she asked me if we could meet up for a cup of coffee. I agreed and went there prepared for her to tell me what a bastard I was on account of my breakup with her mom, but instead she told me she was really happy I was there to be a good father figure at that time in her life. That was maybe 2 years ago, We still text and get together for dinner every once in a while.

So I play it cool and text, "Perfect, see you soon. :D." I know, don't use emojis, I am a faghot.
I had to scramble to find an easy access spot on the main floor. It was busy and I had to wait for another couple to clear out and have the table prepped. It was one within eye sight of the entrence. No sooner had I goten reestablished than she rolls into view. Two dead amaciated legs just hanging there.
Heart sinks. Great conversation and even had a few genuine laughs; but, basically I was signing on to being a wallet/ass wiping home nurse for her and her kids. Sex wasnt even going to be an option after her up coming double amputation. Kek. Ahh tinder.
