Why do people hate reddit so much on here? I honestly don't think it's so bad. Any Forums is a lot like reddit IMO some places are good and some are bad, some users are good and some are bad. I actually think Reddit is overall pretty good.

Upvote and downvote system. Statements that people don't like are downvoted and then not as many people engage with them which leads to circlejerking. On Any Forums the only way to indicate whether you approve of a post or not is to reply and actually engage with the poster.

I was banned from a sub for commenting that it seems as though there are an amazing number of trans, non-binary, bi, whatever people in the sub, and I asked if anyone else found that unusual. You have people talking about a car problem and they throw in that they are non-binary or whatever. They have a problem with their boss wanting too much overtime and oh, by the way, I'm trans. Normal people don't do that, but people with an agenda do.
