I dont even know how cancer of all things got this conspiracy theory.
Cancer randomly occurs due to random DNA damage from the environment from everything ranging from the sun to oxygen radicals.
A cure for cancer would just be a constant money maker, and a class warfare super weapon because the source of most cancer is inextinguishable.

All profit margins being equal, a cancer cure would be more profitable than the current treatment because people cured of cancer can go on to catch another cancer, which means repeat customers. With our current treatment, too many potential customers die. That really hurts profits.
