Good friend of mine is from here. She is convinced its a local whos being protected. Apparently that entire area is owned and controlled by some very rich connected people. The girls families are both white trash and got a ton of money not long after the murders. The town gets tons of money because of the murders. Its an interesting rabbit hole for sure.
