Any other anons at that age where they can't really keep up with new stuff anymore?
Over the past year I've realized that I've finally reached the point in which I now don't understand new trends, memes, websites, etc.
There's always that part of you that would like to be able to keep up on the new stuff and stay with "it", but it's done, your time has come and gone.

I guess nobody feels the same.

I'm 29 and yes, but it's by choice. I realized that people both young and old are become doomed by tech, they are becoming more vapid about thing and barely able to make their own judgment on things because of internet polarization. So I decided to "go back", left social media, don't follow the new or partake in useless conversations. I focus on fitness, hobbies and following my curiosities for intrinsic pleasure and try to help others around even if they don't deserve it. The only way to work against modern culture is to lead by example.

You seem like a good guy, user, keep doing what you're doing.
Thanks user, that make me feel a bit less alone in this world.

Thanks user, I want to see things get better out there.

I'm 21 and I already feel the same

I did more or less the same thing about 6 years ago.

I just focus on fitness, making bank, and friendships now. I still lurk sites like Any Forums every so often to give my mind a break from working for a few minutes, but that's about the only exposure I get to this stuff anymore.

You're a rare breed, user (in a good way).
Sláinte!

You are the future, user.

Same here bud. I found I was just getting older and became that homer simpson meme with grandpa. I'm 29 as well, but things just keep changing so fast and only a difference of a few years seems like lifetime b/w those younger. I think it's best to follow and just do your own thing and also if you can focus on the people in your life. I'm not exactly trying to suggest putting your head in the sand but don't try and be too focused on the outside noise.

>new bad
>old good

Stand tall brothers

No.
>reactionary bullshit bad
>thought and discussion good

I just took a fat drink of whisky

It's called becoming an adult and not giving a shit about childish trends.

Nah I think since the beginning what I was most interested on was progression towards space tech and SciFi things in general. If I dont get to see fully immersive VR in my life time I would be not only upset but dissapointed in humanity.

Oh yeah, I have no idea what this generation is interested in.

Yep. Life sucks then you die. Better not let it get to you.

The only thing that fucked me up in recent years is the whole NFT thing. I'm "only" 30 but this shit is too weird for me.

Also, the whole "I've become a millionnaire with crypto" thing. I don't care about crypto, yet everyone seems to invest in it.

It's just digital sports cards bro

Same OP. Too much shit going on in life.
I used to be a fucking wizard in computers and apps, bprogranking and shit. I knew the websites and how to move online. No more. I am lost with the latest in tech and all this shit. Then I got married and my job just takes all of my time. When I am home I eat and just want to chill. In days off I do chores and go out to eat with the wife or some friends. I dont even know much about computers now. I just found out like a month ago that windows 11 exist.

Nobody gets that stuff dude. They just have some bullshit they repeat to sound intelligent, but they are mostly just buying lotto tickets and hoping for the best. That stuff is predatory.

When it comes to art, why not. But people buying YouTube comments, tweets, or whatever for thousands of dollars, I just can't.

This. And browse some actual porn sites now and then.
I married and like to spend time with the wife going out. See friends and just talk shit.

Isn't it just a pump and dump? I watched coffeemeetszilla and I've read other stuff as well.
