Real talk though most people our age are living with their parents. It's the wise thing to do.
However I'm gonna be harsh and say you need to get a job at least.
Paying your mom money each month is gonna relax tensions alot.
Im 23, and pay half my mom's rent alobg with a good chunk of my own food.
Also, if you have a landlord who is old enough to be considering it, offer somerhing substantial in exchange for future ownership.
I agreed to pay for major home repairs and renovations and in return my landlord has put the home in his will for me.

Here in Mexico the situation is just as bad, houses have very high prices, rents too. I am 24 years old, I try to get along with my mother and help financially as much as I can with my work.
More and more people stay to live with their parents until old ages, sad but true.

My mom and grandma own their houses (yes she made sure 2nd husband cuddnt get it whatever happens) grandma is nice, would def live with her since she has big signs of dementia now but my mom controls her like a puppet :(
