Should down syndrome kids be aborted?

If the parents really really want it and they are able to take care of the kid(like actually doing it instead of pretending) then I don't care if they keep the pregnancy. Of course this doesn't happen always, and if the parents can barely take care of themselves or don't want the kid it's better to just do an abortion.

It would be good to have a choice. I advocate for adoption but let's be real here. Everyone has the right to pass on their genetics but you have to be open to putting less of a burden on society.

You never really know if they will have downs, nor what level of functionality they will be able to achieve as adults. My youngest brother has downs and he had blood circulation issues at birth so he has ended up a sedentary, non-verbal, retarded lad that is almost purely a burden. But it's hard to say because the doctors thought i would have downs as well. Maybe they were right, TLDR if it cones out retarded, euthanize it to be safe

I don't scream ungratefully at my parents I tell them I love them every time I speak with them and bring their grandson around for them to play with. I'm grateful to see the spark of intelligence in his eyes and know that he will one day grow up to be a functioning member of society who can tell me he loves me back
