zoomers can't into torrents for some reason. They still do some pirating, but they only do so under the supervision of techno-corporate closed-doors like mega, telegram, and discord. In the case of mega, I guess a deluge of constantly changing urls and passwords is more preferable to just simply clicking a magnet link, idk.
if pirate bay got some anthropomorphic vector cartoon animals, more rounded edges, brighter colors, and fun & sleek CSS transitions, they'd probably be more keen to torrent.

Lol, 12-15 years ago RuTracker (torrents.ru back then) was for bydlo and every cool kid preferred to use TPB.
No need for that, actually, you can use magnet-links even w/o an account. No seach though.
