While I agree with you to some extent, it's hard to shed a good light on Marvel Comics these days when they keep trying to heavily push a liberal agenda. Comic books are supposed to be escapism, you want to forget about your day-to-day reality and get sucked into a fantastic universe of super heros and super villains doing what they do best, which is beating the crap out of eachother with their super powers amid somewhat intelligent plots, not talk about politics, racism and gender issues.
