I've been a NEET since I left high school.
It's been 8 years now.
But I want to study something, to be something.
I see my high school classmates do things and well, I'm nothing.
I've heard programming is good. It is worth it?
I was never good at math, so that worries me.
Thanks.

Does that even pays
Excuse me sir, would you like to purchase some punctuation in these trying times?
You know what it meant.
>barely considering this at 26

>I've heard programming is good. It is worth it?
Only if you like programming. It's highly competitive though so everyone hiring wants BAs.
Also whatever you choose make sure you dedicate yourself to it and not spend all your time watching anime or browsing paint-sniffing forums
>anime
Get the shittiest factory job you can find. Try doing it for a month and see how much you love life. Then imagine doing it for the next 30 years.
Programming is not for everyone. It's a soulless industry. The innovative side of the industry has completely died but you'll more than likely end up grinding out tasks or customer work orders trying to keep a dying piece of software functioning
Because that is your future as a NEET when you finally learn that it's not a sustainable lifestyle and it's all you have left after the government bux dry up.
Government bucks never dry up for successful neets
If that is true, then there is no reason to not be NEET.
Someone people are content doing exactly what they're told to do. They don't have to overachieve or even try. They simply want a check and to do the absolute bare minimum to survive
Wage cuck jobs are unbearable if you’ve ever had a mentally stimulating job before
CNC machinist
Shops need bodies, its easy and useful skill to learn, it pays well.
People leave you alone and you do minimal socialization.
Also fuck you, stay NEET until you die.
40 hours a week at work sucks dick
>Someone people are content doing exactly what they're told to do
Those people have sub 95 IQs user....
I don't want a trade, I want a degree. My parents have sustained me when I should've gotten at least a job. They are old now. I want to make them proud before they go. That's why I'm considering programming.
Just lie on your resume and apply for some jobs that you think you can do.
It is a fact that half the jobs these days didn't require degrees 30 years ago.
Anything in logistics, planning, management, and of course any "trade skill" labor. all are learnable in a few weeks of indoc. just be confident in the interview.
Most managers these days aren't even technically knowledgeable in the field they manage, just google the job title a bit and you can easily get a job.
