I actually feel bad for the pitbulls, to a degree. While there's obviously an affect on behavior from both upbringing and instinct, and individual temperament varies from dog to dog, it's obvious that the pitbull is prone to violence. But they can't help it, they were bred to be aggressive so they would bite and hold bulls, bears, etc.

Calm down there, scooter. Pibbles that were never used for fighting can snap and attack people or other dogs. Its genetic. No amount of traning can prevent this.
I've raised multiple pits I've had from shelters. Because most came from shit environments, they just had to be socialized, which does take time. I didn't notice any more difficulty in training them. They're very treat motivated so you can get basic commands down in a day.
