I bought a 50$ razor with good blades and I still won't use it for anything but trimming.
Is genuinely a good question. I actually see no benefit of using a cartridge razor over a safety razor. Saftey razor is cheaper, doesn't clog as easy and gives me less of a skin rash than cartidge.
(((they))) normalized shaving to emasculate white men. Don't fall for the psyop OP.
I've been using the same electrical razor for 8 years and never replaced anything in it.
your beard looks like shit and your not a viking
this. dems popularized it
You realise you still need to put a new razor blade in those safey razors, right?
I just use safety razor and soap while in the shower.
Not OP, but I use these. Yes you do, and the blades literally cost somewhere around $0.30 a blade. Vs the expense for a new cartridge. That's why I made the switch years ago. Cost.
Ah right, OP is complaining about the cost, fair enough
As a person who works selling shavers and what-have-you I can assure all of you that:
1. An electric shaver needs to have the blades replaced. If you happened to not change the blades in almost a decade or something crazy like that, you will have the most uncomfortable shaving experience known to man.
2. A safety razor looses its edge after the first couple uses unless you were the biggest manlet on planet X whose face air is made of fairy dust.
I use an electric razor and dry shave. Too messy and too much effort to wet shave.

I clean my skull with one then polish with a cartridge. It is just too slow to go baby smooth with a safety to the skull. Same for the face really.
Let the safety have its one pass to chop away the thick stuff. The polish with cartridge.
So much faster than the old 3 passed with the safety.
So I'd say people go cartridge for speed or because they do not want to spend the time going through assorted blade packs to find out which safety blades work well for their face or skull or both and which are a blood bath. It takes a while to dial that shit in.
Or they tried 1 blade, it all went Carrie on them, and they never tried again.
When the feathers do all the heavy lifting and then cartridges just have to polish everything smooth you only use 1-3 per year instead of one a week.
I shave my head with mine in the shower. It takes a bit to learn the correct angle but once youve mastered it it's easy. I will admit i'm way faster with basic bitch plastic though.
They last months though.
>cost somewhere around $0.30 a blade
you can get a 100 blade pack for like $10
whats your point
I thought OP was talking about something other than the cost
