Ummmm sweaty what's your password?

Must admit though - I think Veracrypt has some plausible deniability.

But sweaty ummm...... what's the REAL password?

I hope so, all my shit uses VeraCrypt, right now encrypting my new 4TB disk.

Why?

It might be compromised by the French intelligence service DGSE but there is no real alternative.

Good think, I have no plans to every visit Muslim infested shitholes.

>the only people who need encryption are people who make enemies with shadow ops and mobsters
Fuck off, NSA, everyone should encrypt everything by default. Even phone companies know this.

>compromise of the signers' laptops,
Using software from a french faggot that uses a laptop

Because Bitlocker doesn't absolutely kill rw performance

TCG Opal on a modern Samsung SSD

Source?

That's because it doesnt actually encrypt anything

I just use LUKS2.
What are the pros of VeraCrypt?

If you werent a gorilla youd be using luks instead

>That's because it doesnt actually encrypt anything
Poof?

Only if you use Windows.

user I....

It only stores your recovery key in the TPM by default which means it doesn't require a password to boot and it can be retrieved by glowies. Even Microsoft admits it is pwnable.

Linux has lurks, shit's way better than veracrypt by a mile.

>It only stores your recovery key in the TPM
I don't have that shit

I still use Truecrypt 7.1a and see no reason to change that.

How do you boot then? Do you use a startup USB? That's the same problem then since it just gets the recovery key from the USB...

Just using a password like a normal person
