The M1 Macbook Pro has the M1 chip, not the M1 Pro chip. It's a fuckery in the naming, but the 13 inch macbook pro only supports one monitor.
Only the 14 inch and 16 inch macbook pros are the actual "pro" laptops that support more than 1 external display.

check on this site: I bought thinkpad USB-C dock for my 1044p@166Hz monitor but it supports it only in 60Hz mode. To get double refresh rate you need double max resolution.
