I say let them. They don't realize that if they were to secede, they would lose everything. All government subsidies would vanish. Any federal contracts would be cancelled. Border checkpoints would pop up at every interstate and blockades of any roads exiting Texas. Businesses would leave because they would be subject to international tariffs and import/export fees. Sure, businesses would no longer have to pay a minimum wage, but good luck finding workers. They would no longer have an established military or equipment. Hell, the cartels would love this. Every texan would have to have a passport to enter the United States; so a new database would have to be established for them. Texans really have no clue as to what they would truly be in for.
