I want to quit, do you do horrible things when you drink that motivate you to quit? Or did the Psychedelics give you a better appreciation for life and all that. A little of both?

Nice I've stopped drinking too been a couple months or so now, kratom helped me a lot.

I was basically waking up with random bruises and cuts. self-destructive behavior basically. never would I had thought of doing of shrooms until my brother kinda encourage me. holy fuck, it was like watching an old movie of my past experiences. If you drink and can handle it, have at it. I am (hopefully) never coming back to that life.

I cant stand kratom/kava bars. Is such a hippy fucking hugbox faggot crowd that if those were my bar replacements I'd go fucking nuts.

I drink lots of coffee too, and I'm not a hippy either I just use small doses of the powder to give me a mood boost and extra focus.

Keep going.
Just don't forget so long as you're "staying sober" the alcohol still controls you. You're now actively fighting to keep it out of your system.
After a year and a half I had a few and it didn't kill me, nor did I guilt trip out and get more.

Don't let alcohol control you or your actions. Good luck, stay strong.
