Got fuck else to do

Raping your mum's corpse

Fapping to pics of the undertaker

Was about to get into some deep shit.

Fucking around with Mandrake Linux on my Athlon 1Ghz machine, using USENET to download as much questionable porn as I could, downloading MP3s. That's about it.

Writing a P2P file sharing protocol and application
Going on vacation to Greece
Trolling people in Unreal Tournament by only ever using the Translocator and still winning a lot of the time

Forgot a few things:
- playing Quake III
- burning CDs and DVDs with downloaded porn and MP3s
- posting on message boards for low-lifes

message boards were better then because Any Forums didn't exist but the ideal was there

Pwning noobs online in Counter-Strike and Quake 2.

Flirting with my middle school classmates over AIM, definitely playing some Runescape. About that time I had a side gig illegally downloading music and burning CDs for $5.

Simpler times.

>Quake 2
incredibly based

Oh buddy Quake 3 Arena was tits

I never really took a liking to Quake 2 and 3 myself. Was still playing q1dm6 a few years ago.

Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne

I miss how you used to be able to download a booter to crash other users lol.

I didn't have internet until 2005

>he thinks modern games / mobile apps / whatever don't have exploitable holes
Nigger, the only thing that changed is people no longer uploading their stuff for free.
a) If they did, a million people would immediately use it and get the hole patched in no time,
b) They can earn money these days by selling the exploit instead.

Lord have mercy! I had completely forgotten about those things.
People use to crash Yahoo chat all the time with that.

Just graduated HS. Was playing Half Life and Ultima Online and going to summer pasture parties to get drunk. Then I started going to community college and got a part time at McDonalds which was incredibly fun because of the people I worked with.

All I can remember was playing gameboy advance and KOTOR

Great thread

I was hanging out in AOL chatrooms talking to "girls" who were probably old men, and I actually was a Napster user back when it was a big thing. From there moved on to Kazza and Limewire.

There was a site called something like "gameplace" I think, I hung out there a ton, you could play chess and checkers with strangers while chatting, and I made some friends there for a while

Are you me? In 2002 I was fucking around with Mandrake Linux as well. Nvidia drivers were raping my head because I couldn't figure out how to install kernel sources first.
After trillions of hot summer nights spent in Linux forums in 2002 and finally getting the drivers to work, first 3D demanding thing I installed was the Q3A Linux port, followed by UT.

I used the Usenet to download a lot of porn (questionable by the definition of law) and pirated games, mp3s and movies.
Spent many hours on the public TeamSpeak 2 server talking to strangers at 3 am.

Those were the best of all times.
