Do you play MMOs?

I'm a huge fan of fantasy and RPGs but no I have never spent a single minute in a MMO. I stick to single player games and won't waste a minute of my gaming time getting called a nigger by some edgy 12 year old

It's old, there are player killers, you can tame almost any monster you see albeit at a very low rate.
New MMOs are very watered down and flashy.

Lost Ark looks like trash. You're not taming shit and there are maybe a few pets you can get through paying for them.
A hidden mechanic that's necessary.
Also gender locks are very fucking bad. I should be able to playing a female assassin or male magician.
FF14 is the most pretentious pile of shit I have ever played in my entire life. I'd rather hop on oldschool runescape.

I used to play alot. Asheron's Call, Anarchy Online, CoH/V, DAoC, Shadowbane, Horizons, WoW, RS.

Alot wore thin quickly. Most newer games are P2W or just derivative without a personality.

Recently I began playing Asheron's Call again...through an emulator. It's been a blast of nostalgia and...IMO...the game still has the best skill system out there. It's not perfect but I have enjoyed it.
