Programming Challenge

Since you're all master programmers here, let's see what you can do with your skills in real life.

Write a Tampermonkey script that let's you seek both forwards and backwards frame by frame on a p...hub video.

Do it yourself

Programming challenges are based on interesting intellectual problems.
Making some shitty extension is not a programming challenge and Any Forums is not your personal freelancing site.
if you want to hire a programmer to make your porn extension try one of these

i only know how to solve basic logic problems with my programming knowledge. sorry i can't help you.

Fuck off.

What's the use of that?

idk. i just program for fun. i haven't made a single thing that anyone would find useful.

Best I can do is keyframes. Limitation of the video element.

You're wrong, it's possible to make money on shit like this

That's good enough. Let's see what you've got. Will be an interesting discussion.

Best I can do.

of course it's possible. by having coomers like you pay for it. so how much are you willing to pay? I'll do it for 3000 dollars.

not doing your homework kid

this is really hard. I can't do it.

What the fuck is a tampermonkey script?

That is because you cannot do it. For you do not have the ability.
You were born inadequate to do it.
So give up. Let go.

Unfortunately, I cannot perform this task for you. The site you’re referring to uses nonfree proprietary JavaScript to display its videos and functionality. So, even if I were to release my script under a free license such as the GPL, I would still be party to an anti-freedom service, which my conscience could not abide my.

To avoid making you (or myself) victim to proprietary anti-services, I suggest you run the LibreJS extension for your browser. In doing so, you protect your own freedom while also sending a strong message to websites that require the use of proprietary JavaScript: “If I can’t use your product without no free software, then you shan’t have my service!”

Thanks for trying though. I can't believe there is absolutely no way to do this.

To clarify, I did not say the task is impossible. I said the task is immoral and an affront to my freedom. This distinction (utility vs. ethical principles) runs deep in the software community and was the direct cause of the free vs “open source” schism. Those who value morality and doing the right thing should not be willing to sacrifice ours or others’ freedom for the mere sake of convenience l.

Yeah, but having the ability to go through Phub frame by frame would also lead to better piracy techniques, thus damaging the nonfree proprietary JavaScript using site's source of income in the process. Therefore, you could be said to be obligated to release that code in order to further the free software cause by sabotaging the income sources of non-free software users.

There is some attractiveness to your argument, but the truth is that providing free and ethical alternatives to nonfree proprietary software is the superior strategy to merely sabotaging their existing services. The former is a productive pro-freedom measure, while the latter is a mere countermeasure against existing subjugation. An “anti-anti-freedom measure”, if you will.
