What has this benefitted us as a society? Like have our efforts come into fruition at all? Cause so far it seems like we just invited a bunch of hot lawsuit potatoes to hang out with us and nothing tangible has improved.

I think we can all agree the standard of living has kinda plateaued or even decreased in the last couple decades, but the rich keeping getting richer.
I'm starting to think this is their way of taking more and more from us while still being able to advertise progress.

Modern times are garbage. That's really all that can be said. Life as we once knew it is gone forever and things just keep getting worse. It sucks, but that's how it is now.
