I wouldn't worry about it too much unless the case has a hole.
Generally it's fine to handle unless it's leaking or has a hole in it.
If you are worried about it.
Put gloves on wrap it in tinfoil then put it in a coffee can.
Really anything this small isn't going to be that dangerous unless you eat it.
You can then call the NRC or email them and they will tell you what it is /dispose of it.
Or whatever agency takes care of it in your area.
just nrc.gov or whatever just email them.
