its actually an armalite rifle, named after the manufacturer

Oh baby that makes my pussy wet

False

>why is this legal?
because it does nothing illegal

>We fallout 3 now

but the deers dont wear kevlar vests

Why would it be illegal? It's just a semi-auto rifle. Semi-automatic function is a technology from the late 1800s. So yeah...and the rifle itself is literally 1950s tech. And the round is small-ish. Your grandpappy's .308 rifle is significantly more powerful.

Learn to Google. Saying AR is like saying band-aid or kleenex. This is from theSkimm a liberal e-rag so inB4 "false news" source accusations

The AR-15 got its name in the 1950s from the small California company that made it — ArmaLite. (No, 'AR' does not stand for automatic or assault rifle.) But it wasn't until the ‘60s, when Colt bought the gun’s patent, that it started to gain traction. They created a military version of the weapon — the M16 — which became the standard weapon used during the Vietnam War.

Given its success with the military, Colt started marketing a civilian version of the AR-15 to the public. It was known for being lightweight, adaptable, easy to modify, and rapid fire. But over the years, other companies (think: Remington, Smith & Wesson) developed other variations of the weapon. And while those businesses gave the guns their own names, the AR-15’s popularity stuck. And became the go-to nickname for those types of rifles.

The 2nd Amendment is not about hunting, it's about killing tyrants. So being about to defeat soft armor is completely legitimate. But pretty much any centerfire rifle round will go thru soft kevlar so that's kind of a dumb observation to make in the first place.

its bidens favorite lines

hah, I know. It's just so fucking dumb. And he keep repeating it. But, this is also the guy who told people to fire a double-barreled shotgun randomly outside if you're worried about a home invasion which is illegal in all 50 states and would get you sent to jail for being a complete an utter dumbass...

Hot take: Politicians don't actually fear the AR-15, they just use it as a "fall-guy" because its actually not all that great of a rifle so when the day comes that they do ban its sale, it really wont make much of a difference but they can still claim a victory to blue haired twitter users so they'll shut the fuck up.

Airsoft aren't real guns kiddo. Well I mean, they probably are regulated as firearms in your shithole country.
>5.56 is just an overgloryfied .22LR anyways
And 9mm is bigger than 30'06.

Eventually Stoner made an AR18. Then Brownells made something better from it called the "BRN-180."
Maybe he is an HK91 nutcase?
