Sounds like the guy is a sloven inconsiderate person. A lot of of us Americans are naive and opinionated and entitled, but not sloven and inconsiderate.
The few people I know who spent some time in the US all said the food is shit. Also read around here about people moving there and getting all sorts of digestive system issues due to the food. Imagine having mostly shit food and eating tons of it as well.
