Ow that semi automatic weapons are soon to be banned in the US...

ow that semi automatic weapons are soon to be banned in the US, the Tactical Operator SpecOp LARPer fags are gonna have to find new weapons, and a new aesthetic.

What new look and gun combo do you think will be the new meta for mass shooters? I my self think the cowboy style is gonna be big in the coming years. Cowboy guns means lever action, which means 45-70, so we're also gonna see a lot of fags in dusters and gasmasks cos-playing as Fallout: New Vegas (my favorite Fallout character)

What say you, Any Forums?

semi-autos will never be banned in the US. Worst-case scenario is the Federal Government adopts Californias gun laws (longer waiting periods, 10round mag limits, no rifles with pistol grips.etc)

No one is taking firearms from law abiding citizens, and the vast majority will never turn them in. There are tens of millions of us who will KILL anyone who tries and the cock suckers know this.

SALT GUNS (AND APPLY ICE IF ITS PEACE YOURE AFTER)

They won't do that either, not on a federal level. And OP thinks all these neets just have a 45-70 laying around and is gonna spend 2.50 a shot

Price of 45-70 is obviously going to go down as the school shooting demography moves away from 5.56

JIDF posting has increased ten fold this hour.

You wouldn't do jack white if they came for your guns. All your 2A chest thumping ever amounted to was funneling your hard earned cash straight into the pockets of the gun manufacturers and the gun lobby

Fun fact: you can actually buy a black powder Colt replica, then buy a conversion cylinder for .45 colt cartridges, and get a single action cartridge based firearm completely legally without any paperwork (since black powder firearms are unregulated and conversion cylinders aren't considered complete firearms so they are also unregulated)

FTFY, good sir

Wouldn't the gun it self be regulated, though? No matter how it was acquired and/or put together?
Not arguing with you, just curious

Its a legal gray area. The completed concersion kit is technically considered a cartridge based firearm which would normally make it subject to the standard eligibility checks and whatnot, but each individual component is not considered a regulated firearm for all intents and purposes.

There are limitations though, you need to make sure the replica you buy is steel framed (brass framed replicas aren't able to handle the chamber pressures of .45 colt). You cannot swap cartridges that easily (the chambers on the cylinder aren't exposed until you remove the backing). And you're limited to so-called "cowboy loads" (you can't use cartridges with powder loads intended for more modern handguns)

Sounds like a lot of work to get a shitty gun

If you don't plan on using it for self-defense it could make for a fun plinker
