I think the Cosmic desktop is fantastic (it's basically a tiling window manager with all of the conveniences of a normal DE), but PopOS is shit. In my brief period using it, the weather icons in the notification panel were broken, the UI stuttered (in fairness this just seems to be a GNOME problem in general on my hardware), and the very first update I did on a freshly installed system completely broke my audio (and from what I remember, the recovery partition didn't even work).
