Welp, I meant rainbow but nice catch either way.
This is 8 core poozen btw. Guess EPYC chads will get 12800% under full load kek
It counts one CPU thread at full load as 100% htop does the same iirc
Idc, still using ksysguard
What are those default colors...
Should have just reimaged from my 2017 arch install.
>That CPU load
lmao it's about to krash
It all comes from top - the original resource monitor. htop is just a clone of this.
How do i kill my KDE, do I need to use Debian for it to happen?
it looks like dracula
draculatheme.com
i think it looks ugly but at least its pretty much universal so i understand why youd use it
NOT LIKE THIS KSISTERS....
It's this way on purpose, it's using the same nomenclature systemd uses where the CPU percentage is a percentage that scales with the number of cores.
has a 16 cores/threads CPU so 1,600% means all of their 16 cores/threads are currently maxed out.
On my system the max scale is 3,200% (32 threads).
The Download/Upload rate is broken though and I don't know why (see iperf3 in the Konsole window).
pressing I in top toggles Irix mode.
logic.edchen.org
pressing 1 in top toggles single/multi cpu view.
Upload direction this time. My 2.5gbit NIC can indeed transfer very close to 2.5gb/s (not bad if you take overheads into account) but according to System Monitor I'm only pushing a mere 300mb/s
holy shit is this at idle? So glad I'm on GNOME
Their terminal is using 49% CPU so no.
I just figured out why the units look off for network usage too. It's because I'm an idiot and didn't notice it's in MiB/s not Mbps.
The units keep jumping about too much. If it always showed in mb/s like the Windows task manager does it would be much easier to read and interpret.
