As an individual exercising freewill sure. As a mandated thing absolutely not.
That said anyone sending their kids into the indoctrination system gets what they deserve.
Teachers and schools don't have any funding. You get a social worker and a psychologist at each school, pay them well, pay for real government funding for extra curricular activities for families that can't afford to buy football gear, wrestling attire, welding materials, pans and ingredients for home econ, and basic financial literacy class and you'll have an entire generation of kids who will actively oppose the sooner mentality.
Half of people IRL and I'd say 35% of btards would agree higher taxes and a socialist application and focus on education, combined with proper mental health services for those who suffer nationwide, are the only solutions.
Imagine going to a guidance counselor that actually gets paid enough to care about you.

Not mandating an education is the worst thing that can happen. Every dictatorship and bad time that took place in the modern era began because the intellectuals in society were culled, and the common folk without a voice of reason were too dumb to realize the real problems.

We put armed police in schools.
In the Parkland school shooting, there was an armed police at the school at the time of the shooting. The armed policeman whose job it was to prevent a school shooting ran away when the shooting started. Seventeen school kids died. The policeman who ran away was sued. The courts ruled that the police have no requirement to stop a crime or protect citizens from being a victim of a crime.
