well a lot of questionable material is distributed on anonfiles and similar services. I would not trust anything they say, these services are unquestionably a target for the authorities since they are the bridge between tor users and the clearweb where u can get tolerable file transfer speeds.

There's literally no other reason to become a file host and pay hundreds if not thousands per month in server fees with no advertisement revenue and no subscriptions.
