>don't know what you're doing
>unnecessarily go into the advanced menu and check random shit that you don't understand
This is why people end up crying about Linux breaking.

>btrfs
Enjoy losing data for no reason

cute boy

Unless you go raid5/6 you should be fine. It’s even the default in Fedora nowadays, but go ZFS otherwise

>Unless you go raid5/6 you should be fine
Even raid5/6 is fine now for data, just not metadata.

>ZFS
Don't I need, like, 32 GB of ECC RAM if I don't want to lose data randomly?

zfs

Yes

Never gonna learn otherwise

I swear to god we need to ban newfags

LVM

always do opposite of what Any Forums says (except me)

You're the newfag

I don't understand why it's the default on Fedora, yet unlike openSUSE it doesn't have snapshots set up. It's one of its mayor features.

no

Say her name then

Not spoonfeeding you

ban Any Forums retards first

Ya
Hell yeah btrfs but it isn't one of the options here

zfs just do it

Use LVM and encryption

ECC is always better, but not having ECC won't make things worse.
I think you only need shitloads of RAM for deduplication, which is usually turned off by default.

Without LVM you can't do basic things like resizing partitions on linux

checked and zfspilled
