Anyone else interested in the Zenfone 9? I'm hoping it has more support this time around

is xperia 1 all I need?

Me. Looking forward to it.
However, I do not think I will buy it in the immediate future, since my Mi 9 is still doing good a part from the occasional battery drain. On this last matter, I am trying different custom ROMs to see which one is the best for battery; right now I am using Pixel Experience 11 Plus, which is decent. But I plan on switching to Lineage OS with Gapps since I find Google Pay very handy.

hows the POCO X4 Pro

That's a little hard to swallow.

Should I get the Pixel 6 or the S22 /spg/

S22 seems great but apparently is let down by the battery. Pixel 6 is cheaper and almost as good (I don't play games on a phone) but I hear it can be super buggy and charges slowly.

Grateful for any input from owners of either one

Just took this pic with my iPhone Max Pro XL Dildo 12s. What do you think

I'm only interested in the battery performance. If it's shit like with the Zenfone 8, I'm not gonna get it. If it's good, then I will get it, I don't care about the price, and I'd sell my Zenfone 8 anyway.

I had a Pixel 6, eventually sold that piece of shit. It has indeed many bugs and it does charge slowly. Avoid the P6.

Need to buy an Android phone to use in developing an app. Probably won't switch to it for personal use from my iPhone XR. Last android phone I used was Xiaomi MI MIX 1 which I really liked and seems like MI MIX 4 is still quite similar? But that' s probably way overkill for what I need.
Requirements:
>Country: Canada / Carrier: Bell
>Screen: 120Hz needed, I need to make sure the app can hit that framerate
>CPU/GPU: Something representative of general Android performance (no weird mediatek crap)
>Camera: literally doesn't matter
>Battery life: doesn't matter, will be plugged into dev machine
>Headphone jack would be a nice plus but not required
>Some gimmick would be nice as a reason to have the phone

I guess the smart option is A53? The 120hz is the most constraining thing here. Would appreciate any recommendations, I haven't really followed android phones for the last few years.

Yeah I'm thinking the A53. I don't even like that phone but it makes sense. You'll be able to confirm that you can hit 120 with a shitty processor. That being said, the resolution is only 1080p rather than 1440p (high end devices are generally 1440p with a faster processor).

>I guess the smart option is A53?
Exynos chip. If it is a game you are programming, consider the S20 FE.

Not without the flip version

Are there any phones with a physical mic and camera switches?
That with good wifi calling support is all I care about.
