I am confused as hell about DDR5, is it good or not? Prices seem to be near DDR4 already.

>Prices seem to be near DDR4 already.
uh no?

whats the best PC? Dell? HP?

DDR5 is still too expensive, but by the time Zen4 comes out prices should be better.

Nimtengo

15% higher is near the DDR4 price. From tests I've seen going for 6000 memory is pointless.

is WD SN570 500gb decent for storage? using crucial mx500 as the main drive

IBM

32GB of DDR5 6400 is the minimum I’d buy and that is like $300+, $70+ more than the 64GB of 3600 DDR4 in my system now. Still not a good deal at all. I’d wait for even better speeds/timings/price.

I’m getting a Mo-Ra 420 (adding in series with my 280 rad). Will a single DDC pump be enough or do I actually need a D5? I’m okay with having low flow, but Reddit gives the impression that you “need” dual D5s or the water just won’t move at all.

If I want to buy a gpu now is it worth it to get the 3080 ti if I am aiming for 1440p/240hz and/or 4k/120?

>DDR5 6400
what for? it has near zero performance benefits, with intel at least

>with intel at least
It's probably the lion share of the performance improvement on zen 4 though. Zen 3 going from 2133 to 3200MHz is up to a 30% improvement in some benchmarks. 6400, or even 5600, is going to be a huge deal for the infinity fabric.

yes, but you can get something cheaper and be fine too, WD uses Toshiba NAND
SSD tech is so unified at this point you can't go wrong anymore, it's not early days

Wait for 4000-series. You'd be a retard to buy now, miners are selling off all their hardware and competing with Nvidia to clear inventory. 4000 is going to launch into an extremely oversaturated market, you'll get 50% more performance for about the same as you'd pay for a 3000-series today.

Do we know when the 4000 series is getting released, because I heard the 4000 gpus are getting delayed?

Which custom design would you pick? I might just go with whatever goes on sale in the next week, but maybe they'll all go on sale.

Also, I want to play on a 1440ü/144hz montior, is rx 6800 a safe enough option or better yet XT version?

>lion share of the performance improvement on zen 4 though
you think? that would be silly, for gaming 3200 doesn't make much practical difference on zen2, I ran it at 2133 for years and can't complain

anyone recommend another case? this one is cool just shopping around mostly

Prolly will do just fine, and you can OC the shit out of the 6800. They seem to be quite close in price though so I'd aim for the XT if you can. I had the 6800 and loved it but it's holding too close to msrp for my liking while the XT can be found for below msrp.

I'm an idiot, forgot pic

That's a great case, no need to look further
