I did little trolling in a european forum and now they reported me to the police for hate crime.
Lets say I was very harsh.
How likely is it that they will catch me?
I used TOR and after that I deleted windows, destroyed my ssd and now I am selling the PC where it happened.
Am I safe?

or a username you've used anywhere without tor
or if you performed a certain action on the forum that was unique to a session you've done without tor

My brother-in-law is a police officer specialising in cyber crime. He says most of the time they only really go for serious shit and if they don't have passwords don't even bother cracking stuff unless it's super serious because it can take months.
I also was on a Discord server where a couple of members were questioned by police due to offensive online comments. The police basically just told them to STFU when they were online and did nothing.
