Pro: The low self esteem usually means their expectations for you are really low. You can usually keep them around and get by doing the bare minimum. Do like 1 nice thing every couple months and they'll treasure that you even thought about them. That also makes them easily manipulated.

Con: If they start losing weight and gain some self confidence, they will almost certainly leave you for the first guy that comes along and makes them feel pretty.
