How to iPhone

Just got my first iPhone and I cannot download torrents.

How do I fix its shortcomings? Should I just return it as someone who values freedom?,

Pay subscription fees for what you want to watch

you should have never bought an apple product as someone who values freedom

Yea I switched from android to apple. It's an absolute joke. There's no way to do anything in a freetard/privacy respecting way at all without jailbreaking (and you have to have a really old model to even do that)

Just altstore

How

They just bought it, it will already be on iOS 15 odd.

Google it retard

>torrenting on a phone
Ngmi

This is the price we pay to not be spied on 24/7 by Jewgle.

you are spied and your storage is scanned by apple instead
also all the apple shit is still hosted on google servers kek
on android you can just not install the google services

Side load iTorrents???

They are using Google servers??

yes, that is a well known fact
all itoddler data is stored on google's servers

Yes return it

Install pic related iSH for an instance of Alpine Gnu/Linux on your iToy then run
# apk update
# apk upgrade
# apk add rtorrent

Three solutions:
Set up AltStore and then sideload the iTorrent IPA from github, only caveat is that you have to re-sign the application every 7 days.

Torrent on your PC and use Outplayer (iOS mpv port) to play your mkvs assuming you are torrenting videos

Do what said
I haven't tried rtorrrent, but iSH is slow as hell. I use a-shell with yt-dlp to download porn and it works great

Wait for someone to build an in-browser torrent client

Who the fuck torrents on their phone?

Based. I didn't realize ashell had Python and pip included. Just finished setting it up on my ipad mini. Works great

Buy a Raspberry Pi, use it as a torrent server and use the Files App for SMB.
That’s a pretty comfy setup.

I never understood this. What the fuck do people do with their phones that requires so much "freedom"? Phones are designed to be used primarily for communication, web browsing and media consumption, and Apple devices do that very well. Why do people tinker with their devices?
