anyone have any experience returning stuff through amazon? there's nothing actually wrong with the monitor i just realized i hate having to deal with fixing games or movies to work correctly with it. even then most games have black bars for cutscenes or the ui is fucked up.
Returns are easy do a UPS store drop off for free. You know you can click through return options without actually committing? You know you can actually fucking use google too?
Yeah returns for most things are ez af with Amazon. BUT I have been tipped off by my local UPS store homie that especially with screens (TVs monitors), there can sometimes be some fuckery if the people who handle the package on the way back break it. You'll be shit out of luck because obviously random shipping worker #3725 Juan will not document or take credit for dropping your screen 5 ft to the floor or w/e

i stopped watching porn last year actually but really i just fell for the "muh immersion" meme for games and in reality didn't even fucking notice. it did ruin immersion when it would go to a cutscene and black bars would suddenly appear out of nowhere lol

The hud is on the corners of the screen, you have to constantly move your head to see map, hp etc. For fps/competetive games nothing beats good ol 1080p.

Yeah try to get the most "self-insurance" that you can and get all the pics and video evidence you can of it in working condition, packaged nicely, etc. They don't care about the Amazon box and should state in the return instructions that they only want the original monitor box
Alternately if you have an "Amazon store" or "Amazon locker" location near you, you can pick that for the return location and simply hand it over there, without bothering with shipping it. Either way, the Amazon website will give you a list of some nearby locations you can use. If you have something not listed that's slightly further but not listed, you can enter an address near it and it will come up. Note though that if you're getting a replacement item and not just a refund, they will fucking ship it to the address you type there, not your home. If you're just getting a refund, putting a different address to search for return locations won't have any side effects.
