Then use GPT

Partition the disk or use a smaller drive for booting, retard. Or sell your 286 and get something that supports GPT.

why are you using MBR retard

why are you using GPT retard

Yes I do.

how will GPTfags ever recover?

for me, it's MBR+seabios+LVM/zfs/btrfs slices

my motherboard supports booting from 3TB drives that are mbr
see you later faggots

UEFI is a piece of shit, but you can boot Linux in the legacy MBR way from a GPT drive. It's a bit obscure but possible.

Get with the times, grandpa

UEFI is a bit bloaty, but definitely better than legacy BIOS
> Global boot record makes dual OS booting shit
> MBR limits you to three partitions and 2TB
> Boot from USB is sketchy at best
> No recourse for manual debugging since there is no shell or similar

The only crime is just how long Linux took to properly support UEFI. But that's the typical Linux experience.
