I went to online highschool and now I'm paying for it.
It was detrimental to my adult development. Skills like working on a schedule, communicating on a team, and working on a team are all foundations of being successful in job environments in the outside world.
Now I'm in college, and then thought of just working a summer job at retail is daunting to me because I don't know how to communicate or approach the situation. And I've realized I could get a degree in engineering or accounting and I'd still be a social inept manchild all because I skipped through highschool. This is not good.

Do you think you really would have been social and friendly and made friends in high school? Having actually gone to one, I can tell you that everyone there is a fucking retard asshole. You think you missed out on something but you were saved from something, a hellscape of morons that you have to face on a daily basis. You can learn social skills on your own. High school doesn't teach you shit. Shut up

>You think you missed out on something but you were saved from something, a hellscape of morons that you have to face on a daily basis
That's what I was thinking at the time but now I'm not so sure.
>You can learn social skills on your own
But how? I'm unrecognizable from an autist at this point

The reason you sat alone at the lunch table isn't because everyone else is a retard, it's because you are.

I dropped out of highschool and got my GED, and I hate niggers.

Ignore the fag who daydreamed about being a school shooter but never had the balls. Truth is you did miss out and it's going to have you fucked up for a long time. If you want to make up for missed time you will have to force yourself into social situations and learn by putting your feet to the flame. It's hard to make firm recommendations given how the coof has fucked shit up but it'd be a good idea to join some local group. Anything you can find. A sports team, even if you can't play, always works.

ywnbaw or have sex kys tranny incel faggot

I've only come to realize that I severely disadvantaged myself two years later. I can float around in college from class to class but it doesn't offer those easily accessible foundational experiences a high school does. If I dont act quick and I graduate college I won't even be able to hold my own in a job. It's like trying to be a chunin when you aren't even a genin because you skipped the academy. The foundational skills just arent there

I'm sorry but this is a retarded take. First of all, you are by default a social being and while a couple of years away from daily socializing will take their toll, it does not impact you that much, you bounce back fast. Highschool is not that special section of your life where you learn teamwork and how to navigate different social situations, you constantly learn those and your younger years are actually more important. Also, online highschool does not imply spending the rest of your days far away from social interactions so... what the fuck did you do the rest of you time?

>And I've realized I could get a degree in engineering
Engineers and I assume accountants that can't communicate are absolute shit to work with and have a much harder time getting hired.

Even if you do manage to get hired, you will never advance past low level shit (Engineer levels 1 or 2) and your pay will not increase much beyond your starting. For some super autists this is fine I suppose, but if you want to be an actually financially stable person, this would be difficult. There may be more software engineering positions that pay well enough without having to have social skills for nearly anyone to thrive on but you'd have to be pretty fucking good at it.

What I would suggest to you is not to avoid your weaknesses. Confront them. Don't look for jobs where you are just trying to mask your deficiencies. Social skills are just like any other skill: it'll take practice and you won't get that if you actively avoid it at all costs. Get that retail job. It's super low risk. You won't fuck up your career by fucking up that job; two weeks after you leave no one will care if you spaghetti'd all over yourself.

When working retail, it helps to work in something that gives you some kind of knowledge in. For instance, if you have absolutely no interest or knowledge in clothing, don't fucking work at Macy's. But if you're a typical NEET, you probably have plenty of knowledge to make you a decent Gamestop employee. Having something you are comfortable talking about will help you a shit ton.

>my life was great so nobody else could have had a bad one
you are profoundly fucking stupid

what does any of this jibberish mean?

it roughly translates to "i will never be a woman"

>what the fuck did you do the rest of you time?
Play World of Warcraft

So it's not the online highschool.

Okay, i see what you are saying. If I practice it will seem hard at first but I will get the hang of it when I churn out the hours; like learning to drive or ride a bike

Communication is all about being obvious with what you want and being clear with what you don’t want. Never be coy with what you want or don’t want.

If you're trying for some sort of gotcha thing, you can just skip it and go to Any Forums where they deserve it because I've been out here trying to fix things.

you should've gone to highschool because getting dumped in the trash a few times would've taught you how to behave you big fat crying man baby

"Identify" as Black. You'll do fine.
