What advantage do republicans gain by making people miserable? They certainly seem to want it. Is it that they'd prefer to make your life bad so they get elected instead of trying to make lives better? Their power is more important to them than the people they represent? I see.
What advantage do republicans gain by making people miserable? They certainly seem to want it...
It's probably because you're a retard. Of course they don't care about retards. What are you, retarded?
Party over people is what you meant, retard
The free market is a real thing
democrats are smoke and mirrors
I mean the 3 things here republucans didn't vote for and almost everyone agrees are needed were vote for by Femocrats. That's pretty direct wouldn't you agree?
Capitalism, you don't speak it. Economists have said the price gouging bill won't do shit.
Try to understand that emotional manipulation is all that's happening these days. If someone can manipulate you into feeling one particular emotion all the time, then it's much easier to control you because they can dial everything in to match that emotion, thus encouraging it and making things even easier for them. Please stop buying into propaganda, we all want you to just be a normal human and not some political slave.
This might be a hard concept for a retard to understand, but not everyone in the world shares your values or even thinks like you do. You don't hold a monopoly on truth and morality any more than anyone else does.
Oh boy I'd love the government to control all the prices. Nothing bad could ever come of that. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to take the vaccine.
As if there's no corruption in academia. Economists are just more politicians.
This.
Feeding babies and containing the rising gas prices isn't moral?
Lol quoting Goldwater..
Letting things get worse so you can swoop in to "fix" it all by punishing the opposition is a ancient political strategy. The worse things get the easier it becomes to blame the Democrats, and then you campaign on lining the Democrats up against a wall for their amusement, instant populism.
It’s always framing with you guys. Trump has an insulin cap set to take affect and it was repealed day one by Biden.
So Biden draws up some insulin cap with medicare and Medicare shit attached and now it’s republicans being shitty..
Sorry, my IQ is higher than room temp..
What part of the bill "cracks down on price gouging at the gas pump"?
The "formula" bill had nothing to do with formula, it was literally just a salaries increase bill. Price gouging the American people, if you will.
Was this after Biden raised the price?
Neither of those were in the bills.
Does anybody have the text of the bill? Generally the reason one party holds out on a bill, when it seems like it would pass easily, is because the other party attached some bullshit amendment that either neuters the bill itself or does something completely random with nothing to do with the body of the bill. This gas bill probably had something about allowing trannies to have sex with toddlers in public bathrooms, or something like that. I'd also be interested to know what they thought the bill would do. Price gouging is already illegal in many ways. This sounds like a nothingburger "but we've got to do *something*" just to give the appearance they give a shit.
>fuck actual people, I've been brainwashed to care more about the economy
They'll fuck you over in a second to make a dollar too buddy. They already are.
Since when did price controls have a positive impact on society? How is the state going to know how much things cost to produce? How does inflation affect this equation? What if the demanded value is lower than the cost it takes to put to market? You are going to kill and industry, and people too. Economics and reality are a lot more complicated than they would have you believe.
this guy is a raging moron
you sound angry, shlomo
as an economist, i can assure you that we are nothing but glorified fortune tellers.
it's not a science, because the dynamics of the world economy are tied together with social processes that are mostly ignored in model calculations.
any economist with a shred of self-reflexion will tell you not to listen to economists. you have to look at the world dialectically and that's a concept that is pretty hard to understand.
