Disable all the phoning home and telemetry

>disable all the phoning home and telemetry
>turns into the absolute best and unbeatable browser
why haven't you made the move yet, Any Forums
it's crazy how much faster and smoother it is compared to every other browser

What does it have to offer over Opera?

>disable all telemetry
you can't

>disable all the phoning home and telemetry
This is simply not possible user.

>turns into the absolute best and unbeatable browser
It's just another redundant chromium fork + proprietary extensions.

Nothing, but Opera is almost as bad. Consider Vivaldi or Brave if you need a bloatmaxed chromium fork. At least both of those are demonstrably more private than Edge and Opera.

It doesn't seem any faster than any other blink-based browser to me. Not any slower either, which is weird since Microsoft is the only one who's actually made real changes on their fork.
Cope GNUtards, learn to read firewall logs.

Pleasant morning sirs.

hahah imagine having to set up firewall rules to stop your browser from sending your data to m$

>too stupid to set up some basic firewall rules
>unironically believing this is some kind of "obscure schizo setup"
so this is the average iq of the technology board

>too stupid to use a privacy-respecting browser that lets you disable telemetry completely
so this is the average iq of the technology board

Why would you willingly use software that you have to keep fighting with to make work like you want and maintain your privacy? What makes you think that watherever shitty workarounds you figured out won't be pached in the next release? There is a reason that shit is put in there in the first place.

>have shit browser
>manually make it not shit anymore
>now browser is not shit
or just start with one that's not shit, retard

there are none, they're all shit

>loonix users spends half their time tinkering with their unstable os, and the other half actually doing something like it's normal
>but somehow a little tinkering for windows is a shocking matter

That 'little tineking' will soon be impossible in future releases. No company will stand by and ignore any threat to a source of revenue.

What does that shitty chink browser offer over any of the other browsers

^ facts

I was indirectly forced to start using it.
Originally I use firefox and chrome.
Edge was removed.
After an update windows started crashing because it could not detect edge.
So I install edge again and delete chrome since they are the same.
Been using it for the past few weeks and it is pretty good.
Some minor problems remain like the bloated right click menu, tabs lagging when I try to move them, edge prompting me to use bing.
But overall it offers a fast and stable experience.

>disable telemetry
lmao I don't even do that
imagine caring if microsoft sees all the autistic schizo garbage you have saved on your PC

Which one has better smooth scrolling: chrome or edge?

I don't use smooth scrolling, it gives me the feeling of slow and unresponsive mousewheel.
I prefer scrolling without it.
And something I've noticed in edge when compared to firefox.
Scrolling through pages in edge feels lighter, with firefox it feels like the computer is struggling to scroll through pages.
