Link strikes me as a very wholesome parent who has established a relationship based on trust and respect with his kids. He looks like the type of dad that doesn't need to shout or strike you if they feel you did something wrong but rather tell you in a calm and collected tone "I am very disappointed in you." I feel like that would be enough for his kids to realize they fucked up.
