I wish I'd picked up some of those 21" NEC's he mentioned when I saw a load of them at a thrift store years ago. I wish I'd kept the Trinitron I fished from the recycling at my last job. With interlace, some monitors can be ran at 2048x1536i170hz. With progressive 85hz is the best you'll get.
OPs monitor can only run 60-70hz at 1536p.
