huh, that Arc is pretty thin. A380 is a bust, but how dead is this thing?

Dead, at least for the first gen. Drivers aren't good enough yet. If you want one just to have it, for instance if you're basically a collector and you need a blue graphics card to mess with in addition to your green and red cards, then you'll obviously be picking one up. But as the primary graphics adapter for a system, I think very few people should even consider Arc at this stage.

chances of Intel scrapping whole thing? I really want them to keep trying.

Are there any cases like this?

currently have this build, prices aren't what i paid for it
thinking of upgrading my monitor to one of the ones listed. it's currently a very cheap 1080p 60Hz monitor that I've had for a long time
mostly use it for music production and gaming.

We need to go back

Man I wish I had a PS2 like that

isn't every case is glass case these days?

>chances of Intel scrapping whole thing?
Low, in my opinion. GPUs are basically massive compute powerhouses. Intel needs its own GPUs. The problem isn't really Intel's silicon: the problem is the drivers that allow software to interface with the silicon.

I've posted youtu.be/8ENCV4xUjj0?t=359 a few times, but this explains just how much work the CPU has to do in commanding the GPU. Drivers (and software integration) are critical for the proper functioning of the hardware in practical settings.

Contrast is significantly better on the M27Q than the H27Q, but an extra $100 or 40% isn't really worth it in my opinion, especially since you're still getting IPS, so low contrast in general. If you have the cash, I'd strongly recommend the Samsung Odyssey G7 27". An extra $200 over the M27Q doesn't seem like a lot to me, considering the monitor is something you look at every day and and your monitor in general is one of the longest lasting pieces of your system

So I head CCFLs make your power noisy
Is this actually true or just an assumption?

yes no maybe it's like coil whine it happens to some it doesn't happen to others but many won't call it a defect

thank you very much, I think I'll put some money aside and get the samsung, then. ~$500 or so isn't bad and I've never had a really nice high quality monitor like that before, so it'll be a treat
thanks again user!

i've seen some acrylic cases like that in aliexpress, but nothing good

best ATX case coming through

Strikes me as weird when people build computers with like 9-12 fans but then have a 6600 or 3070 in it.

I have a case that says you can add SATA SSd's to the back side of the case, but how are SSD's attached to the case? I'm thinking about getting one in the future

>no 10 slot version
They almost had me

Nvidia delayed 4000 series cause crypto died, huh.

oh no, what will they do without the 10-slot market?! D:

Probably just has 4 screw holes to mount the SSD to or maybe a little plastic caddy bracket like pic related.

amd isnt gonna wait, nvidia cant afford to either

>delayed
huh
In 2020, when Nvidia was in the 2000 generation, a complete failure of a gen they couldnt wait to get out of, they announced 3000 cards in august lol.
Delays arent happening unless we hit december with no news, also the oversupply of 3000 series probably means they will try to make the announcement as close to launch as possible, they dont want to hit 3000 sales THAT hard

>cards still at/above MSRP 2 years later
>crypto is dead
no one is buying this shit except for new builds.

why are white Asus 3070 8 GB OCs still like $800+??

im still using a 2060

Not above MSRP by much to be honest.

RTX 3060 MSRP is $330 and I can get one at microcenter for $390.
RTX 3070 MSRP is $499 I can get one at microcenter for ~$570-600.

So yes, it's still slightly over MSRP, but nowhere near what it was even 2 months ago.

that or the 500 DX

Should I upgrade my 3080 10g to a 3080 ti.

no, wait for 4000/AMD cards. TI is just a bigger power draw and not a huge improvement.

But I want to upgrade and I want to upgrade now
