i recommend just writing words even if it’s gibberish at first you need to get your brain wired to connect sounds and words there is no way to truly start i always write the chorus and main body and often leave out the hooks i know most people write by having the hook first but in order to improve look for what separates good lyrcism to bad once you do that its 10x easier to improve
i have been at it for 2 years and written just under 100 complete works
