This is why the year of Linux will never arrive

Are you dumb?

No one asks you to compile it you know

Linux isn't for regular retards.

I don't mind compiling when the shit comes up with instruction but this shit doesn't

And that's sad. Linux does have a lot to offer, and it's the best break on PC hardware from MS... but it's still autistic, time consuming, and tinkerer oriented.

If you try to please everyone you please no one.

Have you tried make?

That's the task both MS and Apple set before them, and they've managed pretty well. That's the field Linus wanted to play in... apparently. He wants to conquer the normie desktop. He's said himself that it bugs him that Linux has succeeded in every other field except the one he wanted to do to begin with.

...

It has plenty. It lacks games though. And maybe good CAD options?

Also,
>basic program and security updates break random things and/or the system
>HURR DURR UR JUST RETARDED LOL

Not even close.
Apple's target audience is fashion aficionados, not tech users. Imagine instead of clothes you sell fashion computers. That's apple. Overpriced fashion items.

MS's target audience are the office worker, they just need shit that works, and they market to businesses.

Linux is for tech nerds and server operators, that's a niche MS and apple will never fill.

Linus is a tech retard, he doesn't understand people or markets or business cause they run on feelings instead of C++.

You live in a world of cartoon characters and silly caricatures. Not real people. How the fuck are you ever going to learn anything like this? You're just going to keep underestimating people out of your own stubbornness.
Apple approached computers like Appliances. Especially Mac era and later. The only computers at the time doing it were early game consoles and I guess word processors. Jobs just wanted to apply that convenience of electronics to the whole computing experience. That is it. Nothing more. Had nothing to do with being a "fashion" item. At the same time, it wasn't going to be so locked down that you couldn't program on one too. That still seperated it from a strict appliance.
For NeXT, he applied the same thinking, but mostly targetted higher academia (he wanted enterprise too later, but it didn't work out). Again, had fuckall to do with fashion. Just because they liked the convenience and wanted to simply focus on THEIR OWN work doesn't make them tards. Same applies to Macs now.

He is either a mac- or a windowsfag. Of course he is dumb... and masochistic.
