It's actually more like 2.2gw of peak output for even old style tractors, which run constantly.

>2.2 GW x 24 hrs = 52.8 gw hours per day
Nuclear also requires less material mining to achieve that scale and these are all numbers using old style reactors, new ones have even higher output.

it will probably be ok and its probably the best move they can make outside of forcing a complete agricultural rehaul which they will need alongside the power they are making. They are the only country really able to maximize on this detail because they have a lush climate. The others simply do not have what india has. There won't be anything stopping themselves unless they have human-rights issue or military issue (which they likely won't.) India does most of what it can because of buddism and drugs. The other thing is sometimes they need Disease containment because they live like trash. Also the middle east is trying to suck their balls because the middle east is failing big time lol.
