There was a study in Iceland over a decade ago that found the more closely related two individuals are, the more genetically fit their offspring will likely be. This is only confounded by inbreeding depression at 2nd cousin relatedness or closer. Third and fourth cousin couples seem to exhibit the greatest genetic fitness. They have more children and grandchildren, and those offspring are less likely to die young. It makes sense, really. The more genetically distant you are from someone, the less reproductively compatible you are.

That is the opposite of genetic diversity. Increasing genetic difference leads to speciation. That is known as divergent evolution. There is no reason to attempt what you're suggesting, unless you want to prevent evolution

The more inbred you get the less genetically diverse you are. Global racemixing slowly creates a global gene pool
