I feel so old, anons. I worked in a social/humanities field and only switched to CompSci at 27. I'm 30 now and even though I had top grades and got a nice entry job I where I perform well I feel so old. All those youtube tutorials are made by people that are like 22. And whenever I discover some new library or repo it is maintained by a fucking kid. How to overcome this destructive mindset?

>got a nice entry job
you're doing better than a lot of people

That doesnt make any sense. I'm 40+ and finishing Electrical Emgineering next year. Just do whatever you want to do and stop comparing yourself with others.

This is why I went into networking. Very few young people like networking for some reason and don't even know how an IPv4 address works.

boohoo whiney faggot, go make something useful if you care so much.

No slacking off boomie

I'm 23 and feel the same way. I always see people who are like 18 and know much more than me. ._.

It will happen to (You)

Lol is this guy in compsci at 30 no cap fr fr fr?

I'm 18 and it feels like most 12 years know way more than me. I think in the future working in tech will be like professional sports: you have to prepare extremely intensely from the time you are very young and most people will burn out of it by the time they hit their late 20's.

I got my first tech job at 28, stop bitching bro, take life by the balls and peg it, peg it until it bleeds.

You're here forever.

Don’t steal my job then

>and don't even know how an IPv4 address works.
well? How does it work?

This.
