Why the fuck do companies invest in features nobody asked for?

I like folding screens. Fun things are fun.

Any good modular phones with replacement parts being sold? Should be better than a Huawei P10.
Only know Fairphone and Shiftphone so far, don't like the first and would wait until there is more info on the Shiftmu before buying the other.
Budged is up to 1000€

>don't like the first
why

This might eventually be good in 5-10 years
But they're heavy, expensive, drains battery and are less reliable than slab phones today

They don't include a charger and want 40€ for a protective case.

Eh, not really. I got a Razr 5g and it works fine. Just wish it had a bigger battery.

The problem is that you need beta testers in order to get good and refine your product.

What's the difference between the Canadian model of S20 FE and the international model? Samsung is taking forever to approve the order and I might just cancel the order and order off of Amazon.ca with prime shipping.

Got my Xperia 10 IV on monday, I'm pretty happy with it. I had completely forgotten how useful notification LEDs are.

Top tier midrange chip. Great performance and battery
Removable battery
Sd card slot
Side mounted fingerprint scanner
Headphone jack
LCD screen

If we listed to /spg/ and how people here complain constantly then theoretically this phone should be the automatic choice for many people here

So then, when are you selling your current smartphone and getting this?

>I had completely forgotten how useful notification LEDs are

They are indeed great. Feels great that the notifications that show up on my AOD OLED screen are even better than it.

Anybody tried downgrading below the version their phone came with with GSIs? Android 11 is awful, I want to go back to 9.

>for now available only in countries without NA band insanity

Best COMPACT phone with a headphone jack and decent battery life?

>you need... more?
Don't be greedy.

Doesn't exist

If you get a small phone you can't have both an earjack and good battery life

Here's what I want
>unlockable bootloader
>removable battery
>lineage os support
>3.5mm jack
Literally impossible

>all of them but removable battery

Removable battery is critical user
I don't wanna be left with e-waste

>a52s with telephoto
is there anything like that?

Will this cure my phone addiction? I tried using an iphone SE gen 1 but even a 4 inch screen doesn't deter me from wasting time on it. I don't care about specs. I just need the basics to work. And dumb phone is no go because I need Whatsapp and banking apps etc

Banking on your phone? Sheeeeeeeeeiit...

Anyone daily a note 9? Im thinking of switching to one from my poco x3 pro. I love my x3 but its missing bands in my area and I either miss texts or I'm still with slow as fuck data.
The Note 9 seems to be the last fully featured samshit and it's pretty cheap right now on ebay

Let's play a game
Post the model of your phone, the android version it is running and its current security patch.
Galaxy A3 2017 edition, running android 10 (lineage 17.1), with july 5 2022 security patch

Shhh. The only way people have fun is to complain. If you give them what they want they will find a way to complain regardless

Is Asus Zenfone 8 the best Android that one could buy right now?

No I need less. Who tf wants a gigantic 6.7inch brick to do phone stuff?

No that would be the Xiaomi 12X.
>last good flagship snapdragon soc
>4500mah
>more compact than most
>IR blaster
>very good camera

You won't find a recent phone with removable battery user.

>i have tiny hands
I'm sorry.

My Sony Ericsson from 2006 still works with its original battery. It's still ewaste because it's a useless brick in current year

>Xiaomi 12X.
>too big
>no headphone jack
>no expandable storage
>no Lineage support
